ARTISAN OBSCURA

THE JOB

Artisan Obscura produces high-end camera accessories for a niche market of photography professionals and enthusiasts. After purchasing the company from the original founders, the new owner hires me to audit the website's product descriptions for grammar and spelling mistakes.

"Just make it so I don't come across like a caveman," the owner says. So that's what I do.

TSUNAMI: WRITING MY OWN DESCRIPTIONS

Making a "splash" with catchy copy. A few buttons don't have descriptions at all. Therefore, I do a little research into the designs and construction in order to write informed and interesting taglines.

Here's one for "Tsunami" based on the famous woodblock print, "Great Wave." I write similar descriptions for seven products. Click HERE to visit the website itself.
